Here we go!

***Disclaimer: there will be potty talk in this post***

Most people don't have to become familiar with this wonderful product before the age of 50. Lucky for me, we get to become acquainted tonight. Since my mom had colon cancer when she was 38, all of us kids have to have a colonoscopy 10 years before that. This is my lucky year! I've heard that the procedure in itself really isn't all that bad, but the prep is awful. That doesn't leave me looking forward to what I will have to experience in a few short hours. Just to give you an idea, a little glimpse, of what TriLyte is meant to do:

"TRILYTE with flavor packs induces a diarrhea which rapidly cleanses the bowel, usually within four hours....Continue drinking until the watery stool is clear..."

Clear poo?!?!?!?!? It leaves me speechless.
But I guess it's all for the best. If getting these check ups periodically can help keep me around for my family, then all I have to say is "Bottoms Up!" (Pun definitely intended)

The disappearing button

I'm not sure how many of you noticed a button I used to have on my side bar that was for my friend, Jen and her husband Zach. They've been trying to adopt for a while now. You may now notice that the button is missing... They found out in January that she is PREGNANT, which they believed to be impossible. Miracles truly never cease, and I could not be happier for them! Such exciting news!
